Delaware healthcare professionals wishing to participate in their state’s health information exchange (HIE) network can now employ Bizmatics’ PrognoCIS EMR medical software. PrognoCIS recently launched its newly-certified DHIN interface, which allows providers to connect to the Delaware Health Information Network.
According to DHIN’s website, members of the state’s HIE network have access to searchable patient clinical histories, patient record-matching, EHR integration for providers with DHIN-certified EHRs, and web-based portal software for providers without an EHR system.
By accessing the network, physicians can potentially reduce:
- Medical errors caused by incomplete or inaccurate information
- Unnecessary tests
- The amount of time required to transmit information to other providers
Due to the many advantages of having access to Delaware’s health information exchange, it makes sense for physicians to choose DHIN-certified electronic medical record technology. PrognoCIS’ recent certification and user-friendly features make it a top choice for Delaware providers wanting to deliver better patient care.
According to Vinay Deshpande, “[PrognoCIS’] superior user interface, customizability, and rich content for various specialties – along with the ability to distribute and exchange patient health data using DHIN – ensure a cost-effective solution to clinics in providing quality of care for patients.”
DHIN went live in 2007 and became the country’s first operational HIE. Since then, the network has been responsible for the secure delivery of countless reports, clinical results, and other protected health information.
