PrognoCIS EHR Successfully Deploys MACRA Certified Product To Its Customer Base

In the latest Bizmatics press release, which was picked up by the San Jose Mercury News, we are excited to announce that PrognoCIS EHR has officially completed MACRA certification, and updates have been deployed to all our physicians using PrognoCIS.

To receive a positive MIPS payment, medical practices must submit 90 days (the deadline to begin is October 2, 2017) of continuous data for three categories: Advancing Care Information (ACI), Quality, and Improvement Activities. With the new upgrades, physicians can collect data on any of the 74 claims-based measures under the Quality category. They can also meet their minimum requirements for ACI with the 15 measures supported in PrognoCIS. Physicians should visit the QPP website to determine their participation status.

Vinay Deshpande, CEO of Bizmatics, had the following to say: “Now that PrognoCIS is a MACRA-certified product, our doctors are well-positioned to receive their reimbursements, avoid penalties, and are eligible for positive incentives for 2017 and beyond.”
