January 30, 2014: Bizmatics announced today that PrognoCIS EMR v3.0 is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition criteria and was certified as a Complete EHR on January 22, 2014 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HSS). The ONC 2014 Edition criteria support both Stage 1 and 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
The CCHIT certifies this Complete EHR for the use by Eligible Providers (Ambulatory), in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of HHS. The ONC HIT Certification Program certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2014 Edition criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for eligible provider technology. PrognoCIS EMR v3.0 certification number is CC-2014-697871-1.

Testing was conducted using Health Information Technology: Standards, Implementation Specifications, and Certification Criteria for Electronic Health Record Technology, 2014 Edition; Revisions to the Permanent Certification Program for Health Information Technology (45 CFR Part 170, RIN 0991-AB82), October 4, 2012, and test procedures developed by ONC.

The clinical quality measures to which PrognoCIS EMR v3.0 has been certified include: CMS69v2, CMS126v2, CMS138v2, CMS1466v2, CMS154v2, CMS155v2, CMS156v2, CMS165v2, and CMS166v3.
The additional software PrognoCIS EMR v3.0 relied upon to demonstrate compliance includes: MedKnowledge® by First Databank Drug Database, Medline Plus® by National Institute of Health, and Problem (IT) Terminology® by Intelligent Medical Objects.
