NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Bizmatics Inc., a division of Harris and makers of PrognoCIS (“Bizmatics”), a leading provider of clinical and business productivity software and services, and OptimizeRx Corporation (“OptimizeRx”), a leading provider of point-of-care technology solutions helping patients start and stay on therapy, have collaborated to increase support to healthcare providers (HCPs) and their patients at the point of care and beyond.
This partnership integrates the benefits of the OptimizeRx Therapy Initiation and Persistence Platform, which provides resources to HCPs, with our PrognoCIS Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to help patients access and adhere to their treatments. Joining our best-in-class EHR workflow features will help HCPs save time and support transparent and productive conversations with their patients around potential barriers to staying on their medications, such as cost and access to these life-changing therapies, and other challenges.
HCPs often search for information about treatment plans and prescription information online. This partnership aims to save HCPs time by eliminating the need to leave the EHR workflow to find research to support their clinical decisions. Expanded treatment-specific information is accessible to HCPs at point-of-care, providing shortcuts to the guidance they need, precisely when they need it.
As always, we are committed to bringing the latest in technological advancements that ultimately enhance provider and patient experience. By partnering with OptimizeRx, we strive to provide efficient access to the best treatment options at the point of care, and potential cost savings for patients to help them start and stay on therapies.
“The ultimate benefits of developing an EHR software are not just the benefits to the providers but also to the patients. By extending prescription cost savings options to the patients, our clients can help their patients financially while demonstrating personalized patient care. It is a win-win for everyone involved,” said Marc Keller, EVP, Bizmatics.
“OptimizeRx is pleased to partner with Bizmatics to blend the capabilities of their PrognoCIS EHR products with the efficiencies that the OptimizeRx Therapy Initiation and Persistence Platform offers,” said OptimizeRx’s Chief Commercial Officer, Steve Silvestro. “Our platform touches providers and patients throughout the care journey, providing value in lowering out-of-pocket prescription drug costs, and providing resources in the prescribing journey, and in medication adherence.”
