  • PrognoCIS Server

It stores the main PrognoCIS application and medical records data. The server size depends on the clinic size/ number of users using the system. Note that the specs below are for a traditional dedicated server for hosting. Now a days, there are lot many options available in terms of virtualization and public/ private cloud. Such options can be used, and the details below should still help determine the kind of resources required.

Users

Specifications and Suggested Model

For  small clinics up to 5-7  users

  • Dual processor: Each processor Quad core 2.6 GHz or higher, 16 GB RAM or higher, and RAID-5 Configuration with at least 3 disks of 500 GB minimum.
  • Clinic is responsible for the system backup. Bizmatics will provide instructions on specific PrognoCISTM data for which back up has to be taken on a regular (at least daily) basis. Clinic can add any hardware required for the backup solution.
  • Ethernet
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2017 R2 with SQL Server 2017 standard edition. Additional CALs to be purchased based on number of users.

Note: Please select the latest and the best available models for your budget as these models and their capabilities change very frequently.

Hint: Even a single processor would do with 16 GB RAM, but Users must remember that when they grow as a Clinic, then the server will also need to be upgraded/ replaced. SQL server.

Hint: In a very small setup, SQL Server Express Edition can be used as an alternative to Standard edition, but it has size and performance limitations.

For up to 25 users

  • Dual processor: Each processor Quad core 2.6 GHz or higher, 32 GB RAM, and RAID-5 Configuration with at least 3 disks of 500 GB minimum.
  • Clinic is responsible for the system backup. Bizmatics will provide instructions on specific PrognoCIS data for which back up has to be taken on a regular (at least daily) basis. Clinic can add any hardware required for the backup solution.
  • Ethernet
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2017 with SQL Server 2017 standard edition. Additional CALs to be purchased based on number of users.
  • Display monitor, Keyboard, Mouse as required.

Note: The Disk Space is a direct function of the number of documents that get attached, so depending on that volume disk space will have to be planned.

For more than 25 users

Please contact Bizmatics to discuss and finalize specifications. A setup with two Servers, one for Database and the other for Application may be required.

It stores periodic backup of PrognoCIS application and medical records data.
